Nova Rua: Rooms in Amalfi

Nova Rua is located on Amalfi's main street, just outside the main square. Marina Grande Beach is a 4-minute walk from the holiday home, and Amalfi Cathedral is 200 metres away. A lift provides access to the second-floor apartment, a notable convenience for luggage on Amalfi's steep streets.

The one-bedroom house has a spacious living room with a fold-out sofa bed, accommodating up to 4 guests. A fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher and a washing machine, with detergent provided for both. The apartment opens onto a balcony with views of the main street and the historic fountain La Fontana De Cape E Ciucci.

The building is a historical gem, with insignia and emblems suggesting a connection to the Knights Hospitaller. Guests enter through a security gate and walk up grand stone stairs into a cool, stone-walled convent-style area with columns and arches. The apartment itself is brand new, placed inside this centuries-old structure.

The property has a security gate at the entrance and key access to the apartment. CCTV cameras are installed in common areas and outside the property. A safety deposit box is available in the apartment.

A minimarket is located on site for basic supplies. The host can arrange a reserved parking spot at an extra cost, a rare convenience in central Amalfi. Check-in after 10 p.m. incurs an extra €25 fee.
